Muscat: Eleven expats were arrested on charges of smuggling diesel, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
The Musandam Coastguard seized two boats that were attempting to smuggle diesel.
In an online statement, the ROP said: "Musandam Coast Guard police boats seized eight diesel smuggling boats near Khasab, carrying eleven expats, and the individuals were arrested on charges of diesel smuggling."
