The Sultanate has been ranked first among Arab countries for food abundance and third in terms of food security for the year 2018.
Globally, Oman was ranked 29th in food security indicators measured for 113 countries.
The Global Food Security Classification includes four criteria: food availability, the ability to get food, stable food supply and food safety and quality.
