Muscat: Sohar Port and Freezone, in collaboration with RFX Industrial Parks, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to launch the Phase 1 onsite construction of the RFX Industrial Parks project. It will provide integrated services in the supply chain through strategic 3PL or 4PL partnerships. This represents a qualitative leap in the field of logistic services offered in the Sohar Port and Freezone.
The event was conducted on October 8 at the RFX site in Sohar Freezone. The groundbreaking event was attended by members of the senior management of Sohar and RFX Industrial Parks.
The entire development will comprise up to 290,000m2 of leasable space, which will offer various logistics and light industrial size formats, including Box and Flex-log formats while also providing an easy solution of moving to larger units as tenants’ business expand. Phase one will cover 10,600m2 of leasable area and further phases will be developed based on a combination of pre-lease commitments and market demand.
