Secretary-general of Royal Court Affairs meet horse owners, trainers

Muscat: His Excellency Nasr Bin Humood Al Kindi, secretary-general of Royal Court Affairs, met racing horse owners and trainers from different areas of Oman.

This meeting comes before the launching of the racing season 2019/2020 where His Excellency emphasized that Royal Horse Racing Club organize these races to the instructions from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, May God Protect Him. He thanked horse owners and trainers for attending the meeting to discuss issues relating to the development or races in Oman.

The secretary-general also mentioned that Royal Horse Racing Club completed its preparations for the racing season which will see 20 race days on Al Rahba racecourse at Wilayat of Barka which was upgraded in course and facilities by collaboration with the Ministry of Sport Affairs and Oman Equestrian Federation.

Furthermore, he announced the current season races programme, the first of which will be on 17th Oct. 2019 and the final one on 4th April 2020.

After that a discussion was opened between the secretary-general and the horse owners and trainers and he answered their inquiries.

He emphasized that Roal Horse Racing Club saves no efforts in developing horse racing in Oman and to take it up to international stage within the available sources. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sarhan Bin Salim Al Zeedi and a number of officials from Royal Horse Racing Club.
