ROP quashes rumours of burnt police car in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has clarified that no car owned by the police or related to ROP operations has been burnt.

In an online statement, the police said, "It is untrue what is being said about the burning down of a vehicle used to monitor speeding violations. The vehicle belongs to a female citizen and the fire was dealt with. The driver managed to exit the vehicle before the fire broke out."
