Sultanate's Embassy in Turkey urges Omanis to exercise caution

Istanbul: After a 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey on Thursday, the Sultanate’s Embassy in Turkey has urged Omanis citizens in Istanbul to exercise caution and stay in open areas.

The Sultanate's Embassy in Ankara said in a statement: "We urge all citizens living in Istanbul to take caution and stay in open areas after Turkish authorities declared a state of emergency on Thursday and Friday in the city as the result of a 5.7 magnitude earthquake at 1.50 pm that was felt by the residents of Istanbul."
