Cyclone Hikaa: Omani fishermen asked to stay away from sea

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has asked fishermen to transport their boats and equipment to safe locations and avoid the sea.

The Ministry said in a statement, "The Ministry calls on fishermen and seafarers to take precautions and not to enter the sea during this period as a result of rising sea waves and to take the necessary precautions for the safety of their boats, ships and equipment by transporting them to safe locations. Follow flyers and reports from official sources."
