Oman's ministry monitoring condition of boy injured at recreational centre

Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development (MOSD) is monitoring the condition of Ali, the child who was hospitalised as a result of his fall from a game at a recreational centre in Muscat.

The MOSD called on everyone to join forces to provide a safe environment for children.

An online statement said: "The Ministry, represented by Children Protection Committee and the Family Protection Department, is following the incident in which Ali Furat fell from one of the games at a recreation center in Muscat, which led to a serious injury and admission to the hospital."

"The Ministry affirms its keenness to protect children from any danger that may threaten their safety and urges all parties and institutions to participate in the protection of children, who are undoubtedly the backbone of Oman's future and prosperity," the statement added.

On Thursday, 12th September, Ali was seriously injured after falling from a climbing game at Bounce Oman and was taken to the ICU unit at Al Khoula hospital.
