Misfat Al Abriyeen improvement project almost complete

Muscat: The Misfat Al Abriyeen improvement project, launched by Bank Muscat in cooperation with Oman's Ministry of Tourism and Al Misfat Al Ahlia company is on the verge of completion as 80 percent of work has been completed.

A statement issued by Bank Muscat on the status of the project said, "80 percent of Misfat Al Abriyeen improvement project is completed. This project is one of the social responsibility initiatives from Bank Muscat that contributes to promoting inbound tourism. The initiative comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Al Misfat Al Ahlia company."

According to the promo video released by Bank Muscat, the project supports SMEs and provides new jobs. It includes restoring Al Misfat old gate and the Shewa village which will create a unique tourism experience centered on the old Misfat village, located in wilayat Al Hamra in Al Dakhiliyah ‍governorate.

Three months ago, in June 2019, more than 40 percent of the project was completed. This shows that the project is progressing well.
