Muscat: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Oman will be celebrating Pakistan’s National Defence Day on Friday at its premises. A day of solidarity is observed by the people of Pakistan living across the globe to commemorate the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers in defending its borders. In this regard, the Embassy has requested all Pakistani expats in Oman to gather at their premises at 9.00 am. “A gathering is scheduled within the Chancery premises on September 6, 2019, at 09.00 am to celebrate the Defence Day/Kashmir Solidarity Day. All esteemed members of the Pakistani community are requested to attend,” the official statement by the Embassy read.
