Cold weather freezes trucks, forms icicles in Oman

Muscat: A cold snap after rains were recorded earlier this week caused temperatures cold enough to freeze water and form icicles in Jabal al Akhdar today.

According to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, the weather forecasts today are for "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of early morning low level cloud formations along the coasts of Al Wusta governorate."

Temperatures include lows of "11 degrees in al Buraimi, 12 in Nizwa, and 4 degrees in Saiq."
