Muscat: Muscat Municipality has activated ‘pay and park’ system at Al Sahwa Park on Sunday.
In a statement issued online, the Municipality said it installed signboards around the parking lot in the park making people aware about the pay and park facility. The paid parking is only for morning hours – from 8am to 1pm.
“Visitors can book the car parking space through an SMS service. They can send an SMS to 90091 with details of the vehicle including the plate number and the time required for the space,” the Municipality said. Parking fee will cost 100 baisa for every 30 minutes.
