Call for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has repeated an urgent call for blood donation for groups A+ and B+.

The DBBS said in a statement online: "Due to the weak response to the previous call, we appeal to those with B+ blood group to donate today at the Central Blood Bank in Bawshar as there is a great need for this blood group."

The Blood Bank receives blood donors from Saturday to Thursday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Friday.
