London: Italian side Inter Milan are in talks to sign Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez on loan, according to Sky Italia.
According to the Italian broadcaster, Sanchez’s agent is in London speaking to Manchester United on behalf of Inter Milan to secure the winger’s move to Serie A. The Chilean is reportedly interested in a move to Inter, who are keen to secure Sanchez on a loan deal but with an option to buy after a season.
The recent development at Inter came after the reported move for Edin Dzeko fell through after the Bosnian international agreed to a new contract at Roma.
Inter boss Antonio Conte has made it public knowledge of his desire to add a new forward to the ranks of his side.
Sanchez has endured a torrid time in Manchester. Since his headline move from Arsenal to Manchester United in January 2018, the forward has only made 45 appearances, scoring just five in that time.
Inter have already signed Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United this summer for 73 million pounds.
