New section of dual carriageway to open in Oman

Muscat: A new part of the Adam-Thumrait dual carriageway road will be opened for traffic on Thursday.

The Ministry Of Transport and Communications (MOTC) announced in a statement, "The Ministry will open the 40 km stretch of the Adam-Haima-Thumrait dual carriageway project on Thursday, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and a number of officials and specialists from the Ministry."

With the opening of the new section, the total completed distance of the Adam-Haima-Thumrait road will be 221 km.
