Speeding video not from Oman: ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said that a video which surfaced on social media, showing a car speeding over 240 km/h, was not taken in Oman.

In a statement online, the police said: "What has been circulated on social media regarding two vehicles driving at high speeds to Salalah is not true."

"The department of traffic would like to clarify that this video was taken outside the Sultanate," the police added, "We hope that everyone would abide by the traffic rules and regulations."
