Heavy rains are currently falling over this part of Oman

Muscat: The Hajar mountains and surrounding areas are currently experiencing varying degrees of heavy rains, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.

The country's meteorological authority said: "Currently there are reports of rains with various intensities, sometimes thunderous, on Al Hajar mountains and its adjacent areas. The rains may be accompanied by active low winds and hailstones. sporadic rainfall may also be felt in the coastal parts of Dhofar and its nearby mountains."
