Oman farming law violators caught in fertilizer bust

Muscat: Violators of local farming laws have been caught for infractions regarding their stock of fertilizers and pesticides, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries announced.

A statement by the Ministry read, “The efforts of the Ministry to monitor fertilizers and pesticides continue, as the Directorate General of Agriculture in the two Al Batinah Governorates has carried out an inspection campaign for warehouses of fertilizers and pesticides in Al Suwaiq."

“During the inspections, a number of violations have been recorded. Once all evidence of these violations is collected, the cases will be filed with the Public Prosecution.”
