Muscat: A driver has been arrested over speeding on Nizwa-Salalah road after video of the same went viral, Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said.
In a statement, ROP said: “Referring to the video that is being circulated via social media about a person over speeding on Nizwa-Salalah road, the police confirm that the driver and the vehicle have been seized.”
“Legal procedures were taken against the accused,” the police’s statement added.
ROP has called on road users to abide by traffic rules.
