Dual carriageway opened in Oman to reduce traffic congestion

Muscat: A new multi-lane road has been opened in the Al Batinah Governorate to reduce traffic congestion, the Ministry Of Transport and Communications announced.

The ministry said in a statement online: "The Ministry is opening a double road project from the Shinas roundabout to the Batinah coastal road, which includes the construction of 3 pedestrian crossings and 16 lighting poles."

"The project will contribute to regulating traffic in the commercial area and the dismantling of traffic congestion at the entrance to the wilayat," the ministry added.
