Illegal street vendors arrested in Oman

Muscat: Unauthorised street vendors were arrested during a joint raid by Muscat Municipality and the Royal Oman Police.

According to authorities the raids took place in various areas in Wilayat Seeb.

In a statement online on Sunday, the Municipality said: "Muscat Municipality and the Royal Oman Police raided unauthorised mobile vendors carrying out commercial activities in random areas in the wilayah, violating the necessary health requirements and municipal regulations."
