Muscat: The Indian crew of a vessel, which was stalled due to engine damage near the coast of Dhofar governorate, was rescued by an Omani ship, the Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a report on Friday.
According to the ONA report, the Royal Oman Sea Vessel Sadah, in coordination with the Maritime Security Center, carried out a rescue operation to save the Indian crew of a vessel that was subjected to technical malfunction in the engines.
The ship was also taking on water which was affecting the engines as well and was located at a distance of 4 nautical miles from the port of Dhalkout in Dhofar governorate, ONA reported.
