Mumbai: The search to find a missing Indian Air Force (IAF) plane entered its sixth day on Saturday. The AN-32 plane went missing at around 1300 hours on Monday with 13 people on board after taking off from Jorhat in the country's north-eastern state of Assam. Attempts to find the plane were made throughout Friday. Aircraft such as the P8I, C-130,and Cheetah helicopters have been deployed. More than 150 hours have been flown in search of the missing AN-32, according to international media citing Indian officials . "The IAF is not sparing any efforts in locating the missing air-warriors. We stand in support of the families in these difficult times," the IAF tweeted. The IAF also stated it was in regular touch with the families of those that are missing. "All possible assistance is being provided to them. Some family members met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on June 6 and were briefed about the search efforts," another IAF tweet stated.
