Muscat: A'Dhakiliyah is expected to receive the heaviest rain, as weather predictions point to more rainfall in Oman tonight, Oman's Meteorology Authority has announced.
The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has issued its third report which said, "Weather analysis of the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre indicate that the Sultanate will continue to be affected by the low pressure system which is centred over the Arabian Peninsula."
"Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected with chances of rain, with occasional thundershowers associated with fresh winds and hail over most governorates. The heaviest rain is predicted over Al Hajar Mountains and its adjoining areas with highest amount of rainfall ranging between 30 to 70 mm," PACA added.
Tides at sea will be moderate to rough along most of the Sultanate's coasts with waves ranging between 1.5 to 2.5 meters tall.
PACA also advises all to take precaution during rain and the flood of wadis and to check the sea state before sailing.
