Oman, UAE to participate in joint military exercise

Muscat: The Oman Royal Army will participate in a joint army exercise with United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Sultanate’s Ministry of Defence has said.
According to officials, the joint military exercise will be held from 3 to 14 February, 2019.
In a statement online, the Ministry said, “Within the framework of the annual training programmes which are carried out by the Oman Royal Army with brotherly and friendly countries, a unit at the “Desert Battalion” headed out to UAE to participate in the joint military exercise “Cooperation 2” which will be held from February 3 to 14.”
