Students using Wikipedia to get zero in Oman

University professors in Oman have said that students using Wikipedia in assignments can expect a zero grade.

Dr. Saqib Ali, at SQU said, "Any student who is caught plagiarising information from Wikipedia or any other site will straight away get a zero on that assignment."

Detection is based on software and rigorous training for teachers to detect these cases of infringement.
