Muscat: Oman Blood Bank has urged the public to donate blood as a result of a shortage during the holy month.
In a statement, the department said, "Due to the shortage of blood donations during Ramadan, the Central Blood Bank in Bausher calls on donors to urgently donate today."
The Ramadan Blood donation drive at the Central Blood Bank in Bousher will be conducted during the evenings from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm and in the mornings from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm on all weekdays except Fridays and Saturdays.
The Department of Blood Bank Services also announced the dates and location of their Ramadan blood donation campaign.
