ROP arrest two for stealing from house

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has arrested two individuals for theft in Northern Batinah.

According to authorities, the suspects broke into a citizen's home in Wilayat Liwa and stole money from the premises.

In a statement online, the ROP said, "The Department of Criminal Investigation, led by the Northern Batinah police command, arrested two people on charges of stealing money from the home of a citizen in Wilayat Liwa."

The police added that legal action has been taken against them.
