Muscat: The MSM30 index ended higher and closed at 3,865.51 points, up 0.06 per cent.
MSM Shariah Index ended higher 0.04 per cent at 520.15 points.
Al Anwar Holding was the most active in volume terms and Ahli Bank Perpetual Bonds was most active in turnover terms. Oman Flour Mills, up 3.37 per cent, was top gainer while the Al Jazeera Services, which lost 2.73 per cent was top loser.
A total number of 207 trades were executed during the day’s trading session generating turnover of OMR816,000 with more than 3.82 million shares changing hands. Out of 26 traded stocks, 5 advanced, 7 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
At the session close, Omani investors were net sellers for OMR279,000 while GCC and Arab foreigner investors were net buyers for OMR244,000 followed by foreigner investors for OMR35,000 worth of shares.
Financial Index increased 0.18 per cent to end at 6,316.40 points. Ominvest and Bank Dhofar were up by 1.99 per cent and 1.45 per cent respectively. AL Anwar Holding and Bank Muscat declined 2 per cent and 0.5 per cent respectively.
Industrial Index closed at 4,538.07 points, up by 0.04 per cent.
Oman Flour Mills and Raysut Cement were up by 3.37 per cent and 0.65 per cent respectively. Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles and Galfar Engineering lost 2.11 per cent and 1.23 per cent respectively.
Services Index had a loss of 0.24 per cent to close at 1,973.64 points. Muscat Gases were up by 3.33 per cent. Al Jazeera Services and Ooredoo lost 2.73 per cent and 2.17 per cent respectively.
