Visa fine in this country increased to one million

Muscat: The Oman embassy in Jakarta has warned citizens interested in visiting Indonesia about the recent decision by the Indonesian authorities to increase fines for visa expiration.

According to the embassy, " The Indonesian government announced that as of May 3, 2019, the delay tax was adjusted that is paid after the expiration of a visa from 300,000 rupees to one million rupiah per day."

"The embassy invites Omani citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Indonesia for more than 30 days to obtain a VOA visa from the airport," the embassy added.
