Muscat: The wise policies of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Oman’s principles of religious tolerance are what have contributed to Oman being free of religious violence, say expats in the country.
A new global report by the United States Commission of International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which conducts research on the presence of freedom of religion and the right for people to practice their chosen faiths around the world, said that Oman is free of any form of religious conflict.
Qeemat Ali said: “The Sultanate of Oman is the best country in the world. Omanis are very respectful people. As per my international travelling experience, Oman ranks first among peacefulness, cleanliness, zero crime, very good rules and regulations, and it is the best destination for foreigners.”

You've come this far and are proud of it. We salute you in this quest,” as Sampath Soundarajan added: “Oman has set up very high standards in whatever they do, to sustain at the top and to keep improving all the time, which is a very great thing.
