Muscat/3:00 p.m.: Firefighters are still trying to contain a fire that broke out in a caravan in Wilayat Liwa, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance has called on everyone to "Stay away from the fire site to avoid any risks."

1:30 p.m: Firefighters have been dispatched to a burning caravan in Wilayat Liwa, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced on Saturday.

No further details were provided by the authorities. In an online statement, PACDA said, "The Department of Civil Defense and Ambulance received a report of a fire in a mobile building (caravan) in the area of Ghadafan in the Wilayat Liwa, the teams are on site, more details later."
