Traffic Update: Municipality advises motorists to avoid this road

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has advised motorists driving from Barkha to Muscat to avoid using the Al Seeb Main Road, due to partial closure of the road.

In a statement, the municipal authority said: "Due to the current maintenance work on Al Seeb Street before the Palace roundabout (in the direction of Ruwi), Muscat Municipality has advised drivers coming from Barka and driving towards Muscat to use the Muscat Expressway or other alternative routes to reach their destinations in order to avoid any traffic congestion due to the partial closure of the street."

The municipality added that the street will be open completely to traffic before midnight.
