No threat to Oman due to quake

An earthquake in Owen fracture zone region recorded at 4:36 MCT will not result in a tsunami hitting Oman.
This was revealed by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
The quake measured 5.0 on the Richter scale and had a depth of 10 kilometres.
