Muscat: Bangladesh’s embassy in Muscat organised a special prayer and Doa-mahafil for His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on his happy return to the Sultanate after a successful medical check-up in Germany.
All the officials of the Embassy and prominent members of the Bangladeshi community attended the prayer meet. The programme started at 6pm, with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Abdur Rahim.
On behalf of the government and the people of Bangladesh, especially the Bangladeshi Community living in Oman, Ambassador Sekander Ali conveyed the deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah and heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty on his happy return to the Sultanate after the successful medical check-up in Germany.
He praised His Majesty’s wise and visionary leadership, which has transformed the Sultanate of Oman into a modern and prosperous country.
The ambassador also mentioned that His Majesty the Sultan is the embodiment of national unity and a symbol of peace and prosperity and security in the region. He reiterated that Bangladeshis living and working in the Sultanate of Oman are grateful to His Majesty for his kindness towards them.
Finally, a special prayer, doa and munajat were offered to the Almighty seeking continued good health, happiness and the long life of His Majesty and peace, progress and prosperity of the Sultanate and the brotherly people of the Sultanate and Bangladesh.
Everybody heartily wished that Allah the Almighty bestow upon His Majesty a bounty of blessings to lead his beloved nation in the future days to come.
