Omani companies must ensure employee certificates aren't fake

Oman's Chamber of Commerce and Industry has issued a circular on the concern of fake academic certificates.
It has asked private sector companies to accredit employee certificates through the Ministry of Higher Education.
"The Chamber asks the private sector institutions and companies to urge all their employees and students who have qualifications from outside the Sultanate and have not certified them previously, because it is important to accredit these certificates.” - Oman's Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Officials said that this could be done via the electronic system of the Ministry of Higher Education's website, www.mohe.gov.om.
