SEZAD chief meets Pakistan senators

Muscat: Yahya bin Said Al Jabri, Chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (SEZAD) yesterday received a Pakistani delegation representing the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between the State Council and the Senate of Pakistan led by Mir Kabeer Ahmed Shahi.
The SEZAD Chairman affirmed the strong relations binding the Sultanate and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He underlined the Sultanate’s keenness to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries particularly in aspects related to economic and industrial zones. He also highlighted the promising avenues of the bilateral cooperation in these fields in light of various investment opportunities and potentials enjoyed by the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Majid bin Said Al Rawahi, Head of the Omani-Pakistani Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the State Council, Mahfoudh bin Hamoud Al Wahibi, Member of the Committee and Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate.
