Expat rescued after fall in a wadi

Muscat: A 59 year-old expat woman who fell into Wadi Mistal in the Wilayat of Nakhal, was rescued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

According to authorities, the woman was European and has sustained light injuries.

In an online statement, PACDA said, "a team from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Batinah managed to rescue a woman of European nationality (59 year-old), who fell in Wadi Mistal in the Wilayat of Nakhal.”

“Emergency care was provided to her by the ambulance team on site, and she sustained minor injuries,” PACDA added.
