Muscat: Oman has reached an agreement with the Yemeni government which resulted in the return of a Malaysian and an Indonesian from Sana’a to their home country.
“In response to the Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to continue the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Sultanate to assist the nationals of some of the reserving countries in the Republic of Yemen, and as per the request of the Malaysian and Indonesian governments, an agreement was reached with the authorities concerned in Sana'a for the return of the nationals,” the government news agency said.
“They were flown from Sanaa to Oman on March 11, 2019 in preparation for their return to their countries,” the government added.
