People in this part of Oman advised to stay away from explosive demolition job

Muscat: The Department of Fisheries in Al Wusta Governorate issued announcements to all people in Duqm to be away from the coast as a company will be using explosives for its project.

The company will carry this out for its project in Ras Markaz from March 10 to March 13.

In a statement, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said, “The Department of Fisheries in Wusta government issued announcement to all people in Duqm that Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company will carry out explosives work at its work site in Ras Markaz.”

It added, “This will be carried out from March 10 to 13 March.”

The department has called on all people to stay away from the site of the explosive activities and the area around the site and to not approach the area because of rock fall.
