Oman's National Museum signs pact with Moroccan institute

Muscat: A cultural and museum cooperation agreement was signed at the National Museum in Muscat yesterday between the National Museum and the National Institute of Archeology and Heritage (NIAH) in the Kingdom of Morocco.
The agreement comes to enhance the cultural and museum relations between the two countries. It was signed by Jamal bin Hassan Al Mousawi, Director General of the National Museum and Dr. Abdel Wahid bin Nasr, NIAH Director.
The agreement comes within the framework of the efforts of the National Museum to expand avenues of bilateral cooperation through more agreements, memoranda of understanding and specialised contracts. The international relations are one of the main foundations on which the museum’s work is based. The Museum aims to promote and publicise the Omani heritage outside the Sultanate and highlighting the cultural image and historic achievement of Oman.
