A total of 117 expats were arrested and deported in Al Buraimi Governorate, in the month of February, the Ministry of Manpower has revealed.
The Directorate General of Manpower in Al Buriami arrested 65 expats for violating Omani labour laws.
According to authorities, the majority of the violations were over commercial permits.
They added that during the same period, 52 expats were deported for violating labour laws.
