AIPU honour for Majlis Al Shura Secretary General

Muscat: The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union honoured Sheikh Ali bin Nasser Al Mahrooqi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura by awarding him the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award in the category of best secretary general of a parliament.
The award aims to honour present and former speakers, members and secretary generals of Arab parliaments and researchers in parliamentary work who excel in their field.
