Oman, Austria review bilateral cooperation, other issues

Muscat: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs yesterday received a copy of credentials of Georg Postinger as non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Austria appointed to the Sultanate.
Bin Alawi welcomed the ambassador, wishing him success in carrying out his assignments, and the bilateral relations between the two countries progress and growth.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of promoting cooperation in various fields to serve the joint interests within the framework of the good ties binding the two countries.
They also touched on several regional and international issues of common concern.
The credentials’ presentation ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs and officials from the Foreign Ministry.
