SCP organises workshop on sustainable development

Muscat: The General-Secretariat of Supreme Council for Planning organised a workshop for preparing the Voluntary National Report for Sustainable Development Objectives 2030.
The workshop previewed the execution situation for basic references for the 17 certified objectives for plan.
The report is to be tabled at the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations session in July, and seeks to track the progress toward achieving Sustainable Development Objectives 2030.
It reflects the commitment of the sultanate to sustainable development as one of the basic corners in sultanate vision since the blessing renaissance reaching to Oman vision 2040.
On the basis of achieving the society participation principle for basic partnerships contributing in preparing the Voluntary National Reports including different special, governmental units , civil society institutions,academic and parliamentary bodies.
