Muscat: Oman’s joint military training for the Gulf Coalition continues with the aid of other GCC countries, the Morale Guidance Office of the Ministry of Defense has announced.
According to a statement by MG, “The Armed Forces of His Majesty continue their effective participation in the joint training exercise Dir al Jazeera 10 (Gulf Shield 10) in the Eastern parts of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with other forces from the Gulf Cooperation Council.
“This training,” added the MG, “aims to reinforce existing military cooperation, and to unite military thought and strategic plans between the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council,” as well as to “plan and execute combined operations to stand ready to intercept and defend against any possible threat to the countries of the GCC.”
