Two motorcycle drivers arrested for reckless driving

Muscat: Two motorcycle riders have been arrested for reckless driving in the Wilayat of Seeb, Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said. A spokesman at the ROP said, “Traffic patrols at Al Khoud police station arrested motorcyclists who were racing on the public street in Al Mawaleh area in the Wilayat of Seeb.” He added, “After the drivers were stopped, it was found that one of them did not have a driving licence at all, while the second driver had installed the plate number on his bicycle so that he could hide it when he was driving quickly.” The Royal Oman Police called on all citizens and residents to cooperate and communicate with various police stations in order to eliminate this phenomenon, which is the cause of some fatal traffic accidents.
