Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif announces resignation on Instagram

Muscat: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Zarif has resigned on Instagram.
The resignation was 'noted' by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Pompeo stated on Twitter, "We note Javad Zarif's resignation. We'll see if it sticks."
It remains unclear as to whether or not Zarif's resignation has been accepted.
