Muscat: The Omani Embassy in India has warned its citizens not to travel to the state of Jammu and Kashmir until the situation in the region stabilizes.

The Omani Embassy in India said in statement online: "Due to the events taking place in the State of Jammu and Kashmir in the friendly Republic of India, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in New Delhi calls upon the dear citizens not to travel to those areas at the present time until the situation in area is stabilized and until further notice."
