Muscat: Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has postponed an upcoming trip to Japan as a result of the Pulwama attack, the state-owned Radio Pakistan confirmed.
Qureshi telephoned his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono and explained the reasons behind the postponement of his visit to Japan.
Speaking to Kono, Qureshi stated that in such a sensitive situation, it was important for him to stay in the country.
Both foreign ministers agreed to reschedule the visit at the earliest.
